The India U19 team is set for a crucial tour of Australia starting September 21, 2025, featuring three ODIs and two four-day Tests, marking an important step in their build-up to the 2026 U19 World Cup. The series opens with three ODIs at Brisbane’s Ian Healy Oval on September 21, 24, and 26, followed by two red-ball Youth Tests. The first Test is also in Brisbane and the second in Mackay at the Great Barrier Reef Arena.

The Indian team, which is one of the best cricket teams in the world even in Under-19 cricket, enters the tour with a strong squad led by Ayush Mhatre. Teenage prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi is expected to be one of the standout players in this series. Another player to watch out for will be Vihaan Malhotra, the vice-captain, who is a decent middle-order batsman.

The India U19 tour of Australia 2025 is set to begin on September 21, 2025, with three ODIs followed by two Youth Test matches. All three ODIs will be held at the Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane, on September 21, 24, and 26, providing players with early exposure to Australia’s pace-friendly conditions. The white-ball leg of the tour is expected to be competitive, especially with promising youngsters like Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre in fine form.

After the 50-over matches, both teams will switch focus to the red-ball format. The first Youth Test, also scheduled at the Ian Healy Oval, will run from September 30 to October 3. The tour concludes with the second Test, to be played at the picturesque Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay, one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world. It will be played from October 7 to 10.
