IND vs ENG Umpires Today Match: List of On-Field and Third Umpire

The opening ODI saw a dramatic change in momentum after England made a confident start with the bat at Edgbaston. The English skipper Harry Brook opted to bat first after winning the toss, and they were well placed as Ben Duckett and Jacob Bethell handled the Indian pace attack and added 61 runs for the opening wicket.

The ICC has named an experienced group of match officials for the England vs India 1st ODI at Edgbaston, Birmingham, to manage the opening match of the three-game series. Among the best umpires in cricket, Sri Lanka's Kumar Dharmasena and England's Mike Burns are the two on-field umpires, and both have handled many international matches over the years. Mike Burns was quite accurate in his decision-making over a few LBW calls during the 1st ODI.

The IND vs ENG 3rd umpire is Australia's Sam Nogajski, who has also been in action through DRS reviews, run-outs, stumpings, boundary checks and front-foot no-balls with the help of television replays. England's Russell Warren has been appointed as the fourth umpire.

Former West Indies cricketer Richard Richardson is the match referee and will make sure the match is played according to ICC rules and playing conditions. He will also oversee player behaviour and deal with any disciplinary issues if needed.
