India's tour of Sri Lanka features a two-match Test series that opens a new chapter for both sides in the 2025–27 ICC World Test Championship. Before the Tests, the Indian team will play a three-day practice match against the Sri Lanka XI in Colombo from August 7 to 9.

The first Test is scheduled at the Galle International Stadium from August 15 to 19, while the second Test will be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo from August 23 to 27. This is India's first Test assignment in Sri Lanka in nearly a decade and their first bilateral Test series against them since 2022.
