Kerala Cricket League 2026 Auction Live Streaming and Latest Updates

The third season of the Kerala Cricket League has brought excitement amongst the fans. As per the reports, KCL 2026 will be played during August-September this year. But before the tournament begins, teams will be looking to strengthen their squads in the KCL Auction 2026.
The Kerala Cricket League Auction will be held on July 11 in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram. Six franchises will bid for 156 players in this auction. Charu Sharma, the Kerala Cricket League auctioneer, will conduct the event, according to KCA's statement.

Where to Watch Kerala Cricket League Auction Live?

The Kerala Cricket League Auction live streaming will be available on the JioHotstar app. It will be held at the The Leela Raviz, a 5-star hotel in Thiruvananthapuram. The Kerala Cricket League Auction timing is scheduled at 10 AM.
The KCL 2026 Auction will see some of the top cricketers from Kerala going under the hammer. he six teams will be looking to add some more talented players to their squad. The previous two editions of the Kerala Cricket League have been a blockbuster and this season promises to provide even more entertainment.

Kerala Cricket League Auction Live Updates

Overall, 17 players have been retained by the six participating teams ahead of the auction. The 173 players shortlisted for this auction includes some of the top cricketers in Kerala who have also featured in the Ranji Trophy.

Thrissur Titams and Aries Kollam Sailors, the last year's runners-up, have retained four players each, which is the most for any team. Meanwhile, Trivandrum Royals and Calicut Globstars have retained three players each.

Kochi Blue Tigers, the defending champions, have retained two players while Alleppey Ripples have retained just one player, the least amongst the all. The purse for each franchise has been fixed at INR 50 lakh and they can have a maximum of 16 players in their respective squads.

The KCL Auction players have been divided into three categories. Category A players consist of the best players who have the IPL, first-class and List A experience. Their base price has been fixed at INR 3 lakh.

Coming to the lower one, the Category B includes those players who have done well in the age group levels of Under-19 and Under-23. Their base price has been set at INR 1.5 lakh.
