Laura Wolvaardt Joins Elite List, Creates Massive Record in WC Final

South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt has set a new record, becoming only the second batter in the history of women's cricket to score a century in both the World Cup semi-final and final. She is only second to Alyssa Healy, who achieved this feat during the 2022 World Cup.

Laura also broke the record for the most runs in a single edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup. She achieved the feat during the 2025 final between India and South Africa at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
