Australian Cricket Team fast bowler Mitchell Starc achieved a massive feat in Test cricket. He broke a huge record of Wasim Akram and is now the leading wicket-taker in the longest format of the game among left-arm pacers.

Starc overtook Wasim Akram in the ongoing day and night Test against the England Cricket Team at The Gabba in Brisbane. The second Test of the Ashes 2025-26 got underway on Thursday, December 4 as Australia lost the toss and opted to field.
