Big Boost for Hyderabad as Mohammed Siraj Announced Ranji Captain

Hyderabad has announced its squad for the upcoming phase of Ranji Trophy 2025-26, where they have appointed Mohammed Siraj as the skipper of the team. Siraj is not in contention for the T20I team. But his IPL performance is also incredible. In 2025, he played in 15 matches and took 16 wickets at an average of 32.93. Siraj is an asset to the Indian team for the kind of performance he has produced over the past few years. His career growth has been incredible, making him valuable.

However, the selectors have shown trust in him with the red ball. After Jasprit Bumrah, Siraj is the only bowler who takes wickets at regular intervals, making him a regular player in the team.
