As per reports by AajTak, authorities​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ in Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have arrested five individuals believed to be involved in the shooting at the residence of Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah house firing. Police took help from the CCTV footage and detained five accused for the attack. As per the police statements, some unknown assailants opened fire at the cricketer’s family home around midnight on Monday, causing the main gate and a vehicle parked outside to be damaged by bullets. In Naseem Shah attack no one has been hurt, and the family members are in good health.

Police have conducted an extensive inquiry after the occurrence of the violent act. They are collecting data from Naseem Shah house and watching the recorded footage of the cameras installed nearby to figure out if there are more people behind this attack and the main motive as well. Despite getting support from PCB, Naseem has decided to stay with the Pakistan squad and play in the upcoming Sri Lanka series, which shows his courage and eagerness to represent the country.
