The Nepal Premier League 2026 is all set to be played during October-November this year at one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world. The tournament has gained massive popularity all over Nepal, which gives a glipmse of its future in the country.

Ahead of the new season, the Nepal Premier League 2026 auction will take place, with some of the country's finest cricketing talents hoping to earn contracts with the franchises. The NPL 2026 auction live streaming will also be available for the fans who are eagerly following the league.

Where to Watch Nepal Premier League 2026 Auction Live?

For fans looking for Nepal Premier League auction live streaming, there is some good news. The NPL auction live streaming will be available on the official Nepal Premier League YouTube channel.

The NPL 2026 auction will take place on July 6 and is scheduled to begin from 3:30 PM IST at Kathmandu. 52 spots are currently available amongst the 8 teams taking part in this league.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) have shortlisted 155 out of 347 registrations of domestic players to fill these remaining spots. It will be a mini-auction and the teams will be looking to fill the void.

Nepal Premier League Auction Live Updates

The players in the Nepal Premier League 2026 auction have been divided into three categories based on the skillset and experience. The base price for Category A players is NPR 10 lakh and it includes some of the richest cricketers in Nepal like Aasif Sheikh, Bibek Kumar Yadav, Arjun Gharti, and many more.

There are 5 players in Category A, 27 in Category B and 123 players in Category C. The highest auction purse is for Janakpur Bolts, which is NPR 66.25 lakh, while Kathmandu Gorkhas have NPR 34 lakh, the lowest purse.

The marquee players for Janakpur Bolts and Chitwan Rhinos are Lalit Rajbanshi and Kushal Malla respectively. After that, Sompal Kami and Kushal Bhurtel, the marquee players of Karnali Yaks and Pokhara respectively, also came into the auction.

Two of the top Nepali cricketers, Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airee, also arrived in the auction later. Biratnagar Kings' Sandeep Lamichhane and Lokesh Bam also made their presence felt. The Nepal Premier League auctioneer is Devendra Subedi.
