NZ20 League: Structure and What Lies Ahead

If the proposed NZ20 League becomes a reality, then it could be another name in the list of privately owned and managed domestic tournaments that attract international tournaments and keep the competitive spirit of the game alive. With plans to introduce a six-franchise-based NZ20 tournament, each owned independently, the tournament will also have both men’s and women’s editions and is expected to run over a span of four weeks during the New Zealand summer.
