Pakistan Tri Series schedule

Pakistan is set to host a T20I tri-nation series for the first time, with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe joining as the participating teams. The Pakistan Tri-series schedule has been out, and this series is seen as a vital part of all three sides’ preparations ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled for next year in India and Sri Lanka.

The tournament kicks off on November 17, with PAK vs ZIM at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The upcoming Pakistan Tri-series will begin just over a week after the conclusion of one of South Africa’s multi-format Tour of Pakistan.

With the T20 World Cup approaching, the Pakistan national cricket team has been actively seeking more game time in the shortest format. The tournament, set to take place next year in India and Sri Lanka, will see Pakistan playing all of their matches on Sri Lankan soil against some of the best cricket teams in the world.

Pakistan Tri-Series to Feature Afghanistan and Sri Lanka

After Afghanistan pulled out of the series following the cross-border tensions with Pakistan, Zimbabwe were invited to play this series. Zimbabwe will play the opening match against Pakistan and will then face Sri Lanka on November 19 in Rawalpindi. The remaining matches, including the final, will be held in Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, one of the most renowned cricket stadiums in Pakistan.

The tri-series will run from November 17 to 29 and will provide a good chance for all the three teams to prepare and try their combinations before the grand ICC event in 2026. All of them are a part of the T20 World Cup next year.
