Australia's Chief Selector George Bailey has revealed that Pat Cummins will not be available to play the T20 World Cup 2026 opener as he is recovering from an injury. Since most of the teams have announced their squads, Australia have time until January 31 to reveal their proper squad for the T20 World Cup 2026.
Pat Cummins injury is a huge blow for Australia since he is an outstanding bowler and has experience in the leadership part as well. Meanwhile, Tim David has been given a green signal by the medical team after suffering a minor setback during his rehabilitation last week.
