The first match of the tournament between Varanasi Rudras and Prayagraj Rudras began early at 8:30 AM IST. Prayagraj scored 201-5 while batting first in 20 overs. The match went right down to the wire, but Varanasi failed to chase down the target. They scored 195-9 and thus fell short by 6 runs.

The second match of the Rudras Cup 2026 is being played on the same day after the completion of the first one. The match between Jhansi Rudras and Fatehpur Rudras started at 2:00 PM IST. Batting first, Jhansi scored 191-5 in their first innings, with Fatehpur in need of a solid batting performance to chase the target down.
