Former SRH Cricketer Appointed Bowling Coach of Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Team

Jammu & Kashmir domestic cricket team has seen a rise in the talent pool as well as the opportunities after winning their maiden Ranji Trophy Title of 2025-26 season. The Jammu & Kashmir cricket board has announced that Siddarth Kaul, who is a former SRH player, as a bowling coach of the U23 Jammu & Kashmir cricket team. Kaul brings a lot of bowling experience, with years of being part of the biggest cricket league in the world as well as featuring in 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.

The right-arm pacer has also spent some time with the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) in the past, mentoring young talent. However, Siddarth Kaul Jammu & Kashmir coach of the U23 team, will be mentoring and training young fast-bowling talent from the state. The reason for Siddarth Kaul joining J&K cricket might be linked to his father, who has played first-class cricket for Jammu & Kashmir in the past.

Siddarth Kaul Career Overview

Siddarth Kaul is a former Indian fast bowler who made headlines by bowling the final over in India's 2008 Under-19 World Cup win. He became well known for his clever knuckleball and impressed everyone during the 2017 and 2018 IPL seasons with Sunrisers Hyderabad, taking 37 wickets in two years. His strong IPL performances earned him a place in the Indian team, where he played three ODIs and three T20Is. Kaul was also a key player for Punjab in domestic cricket and helped the team win the 2023–24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy before retiring in 2024 to focus on his banking career.
