Vaibhav Suryavanshi achieved the feat in the ongoing game of the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025 between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The match between the two teams is taking place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Friday, December 14.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi Fails to Break U19 Record
Suryavanshi, who opened the innings for India U19, looked a class apart right from the start and slammed the UAE bowlers all over the park. He first hit a solid fifty and then made sure he converted that into a century, registering the feat in just 56 balls.
Suryavanshi didn’t stop after that as he continued batting with an aggressive approach. He slammed 150 and was all set to hit the highest score by an Indian in U19 ODIs. But was removed by Uddish Suri for 171 runs, failing to reach the landmark by just six runs.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi U19 record would have been a new addition to his career. However, he failed to break this record in this innings. The youngster still has a lot of time and can reach the milestone in the next few years.
