The cricket season in a full swing with several leagues going on, where Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is also underway and has almost reached it's final stage. Teams have been fighting for a spot into the Playoffs while one of them has fixed a spot at the top with Q symbol in front of it on the points table.

The 34th match of the PSL featuring Rawalpindiz vs Islamabad United, where Rawalpindiz are out of the league and Islamabad United looking for a win to have a lead on the points table. However, this match was a normal one with low score being scored in the first innings, but a heated argument took place among the players which might create controversy in the RWP vs ISU PSL 2026.

The PSL fight between Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf took place during the first innings of the match when Islamabad United was batting. At the 16.3 over, Mohammad Amir bowled a slower bouncer straight into the line to Faheem Ashraf which was nicked and caught by the wicket keeper. The wicket celebration by Mohammad Amir, one of the best Pakistani bowlers, was done in full energy and gave a send off to Ashraf.

The bowler made a gesture of send off to his dressing room which ignited a heated argument between the two players. Faheem is generally cool minded guy but lost his control after Amir gave him a send off and both exchanged a few words. The moment was about to escalate to that point but Amir's teammates took both away and the batter continuously gave looks to Amir till he reached the end of boundary line.

Rawalpindiz Registered First Win of PSL 2026

Rawalpindiz, led by Pakistan's keeper batter, Mohammad Rizwan, had a very poor season of PSL. The team has a good bunch of players coming from both international teams as well as local talent like Darly Mitchell, Saad Masood, Naseem Shah, and many more. However, the team got their first points in this season after fighting in 9 matches. Rawalpindiz were the first team to be eliminated this season after a poor run in this season. They managed to restrict Islamabad United to a total of 137 and managed to chase it down in 18.1 overs and had a first win of the season.
