When Will Suryakumar Yadav Play Next Match in MCA President's Cup? Here's the Schedule

India's dynamic batter Suryakumar Yadav is back on the cricket field, but his latest outing has left fans waiting for a bigger performance. The former India T20I captain has returned to Mumbai's local cricket circuit after a break from competitive action, hoping to regain his rhythm and strengthen his case for a national team comeback.

With his international future attracting attention and opportunities in domestic cricket becoming increasingly important, all eyes are now on Suryakumar Yadav next match for MIG Cricket Club after his debut just a few days ago.

When Will Suryakumar Yadav Play Next Match in MCA President's Cup?

Suryakumar Yadav next match in MCA President Cup is on October 17, when he will again represent MIG Cricket Club against Dadar Union Sporting Club. He will be looking to get a big score after a disappointing knock in the first game. The complete MCA President's Cup schedule is not yet revealed.

Suryakumar represented MIG Cricket Club against Muslim United Sports Club in the MCA President's Cup on Sunday, October 11, 2026. However, the Indian batter endured a brief outing, scoring 17 runs off just 10 deliveries, including three boundaries, before being dismissed. Despite his early departure, MIG Cricket Club secured a comfortable five-wicket victory, chasing down Muslim United's 153/7 in just 15.4 overs.

Can Suryakumar Yadav Make a Comeback to the Indian Team?

Suryakumar's return to competitive cricket comes at a crucial stage of his career. Considered as one of the best T20 batsmen at one time, he has been left out of India's T20I setup despite captaining the team to the 2026 T20 World Cup title. He was also omitted from Mumbai's squad for the opening round of the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy, with selectors pointing to his lack of recent red-ball match practice.

The MCA President's Cup offers Suryakumar an opportunity to regain confidence and demonstrate his batting form. However, a return to the national side will depend on consistent performances and the selectors' requirements.

His 17-run knock against Muslim United showed the world why he was regarded as one of the most dangerous batsmen in the world during his prime. But, he will need more substantial contributions in upcoming matches to strengthen his case. With the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy approaching, regular match practice and impactful performances could prove important.
