Why There Will Be No IND vs PAK Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 Match?

Pakistan have not qualified for the ICC Women's Champions Trophy 2027 as they didn't pass the criteria. The top six teams till July 6 cut-off date qualified for the tournament and Pakistan were not in this list.

Hence, there will be no IND vs PAK match in Women's Champions Trophy 2027. It is a disappointing news for the fans in both countries who were eagerly awaiting the greatest rivalry in cricket in the inaugural edition of Women's Champions Trophy.

The six participating teams in the ICC Women's Champions Trophy 2026 are Australia, South Africa, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and hosts India. Sri Lanka maintained its spot for the No. 6 position in the ICC Women's T20I rankings, and hence, made the cut ahead of West Indies, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Bad News For India and Pakistan Fans

The Women's Champions Trophy 2027 will be the tournament's inaugural edition and the ICC will hope to make it successful. Just six teams are participating and there will be no knockout game till the final. The whole tournament will be played in Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium and Vadodara's Kotambi Stadium.
