The 23-year-old batter was taken to Aditya Birla Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where the reports said that he's diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis.

There are no official statements for Jaiswal and the Board of Control for Cricket in India, but several reports suggest that Jaiswal has been asked to take rest and continue his medication until he's fully fit. This further questions Yashasvi Jaiswal return as his availability will be crucial for the upcoming series against New Zealand.
