The Delhi cricket team has received a massive boost ahead of the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 season. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, two of the stalwarts of Delhi cricket, are all set to feature in the domestic tournament as they have been included in Delhi's probable list.

Both Kohli and Pant are among the best batsmen in the world at the moment and have served the national team for some years now. While Kohli is on the latter stages of his international career, Pant has grown into one of the mainstays, especially in the longest format of the game.

The DDCA selectors alongside the head coach and other officials had a meeting on December 10, where they finalised the list of probables for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. During this meeting, it was revealed that both Kohli and Pant will also join Delhi squad for Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26.

Kohli and Pant will provide an extra edge to Delhi in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. While Kohli is among the best ODI batsmen of all time, Pant is a highly skilled wicketkeeper and a proven international batter. It will be an excellent chance for the youngsters in the team to watch these two play in this prestigious tournament.

Massive Boost for Delhi

Virat Kohli Vijay Hazare Trophy presence this season marks a huge moment. The legendary batter will be back in this tournament after 15 years. His comeback is highly awaited given he plays only one format for India now. It has been quite rare to see Kohli play domestic cricket.
