The Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier will take place in Nepal from January 12 to February 2, 2026. Ten nations will compete for a position in the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup in England and Wales, with Papua New Guinea taking home the last slot at the Global Qualifier the following year. Following Papua New Guinea's victory in the East Asia Pacific Qualifier on Monday, all the teams that will participate in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier next year have been revealed. Two teams each from Africa and Europe, as well as one from the East Asia-Pacific area, will complete the remaining five spots, which will be determined by the other regional qualifiers.

In the final of the 2025 ICC Women's T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier on Monday, Papua New Guinea defeated Vanuatu, preserving their dream of qualifying for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Geua Tom took three wickets (3/15) and Naoni Vare scored an undefeated half-century to help the team win by nine wickets.

As a result, Papua New Guinea advances to the Global Qualifier in Nepal the following year, where they will face nine other teams in an attempt to secure one of four slots in the T20 World Cup.
