According to TOI, the IPL style auction was initiated on May 10 by Jwala Singh for both boys and girls. All the players in the auction were signed by the 16 participating teams. The tournament, run by the Mumbai Cricket Club, is set to begin on May 14.

Meanwhile, the auction for the Jwala Singh IPL style tournament was also telecast live on YouTube to allow the players follow it live. No cash was involved in this Mumbai Cricket club tournament and a boy became the most expensive player for 20 lakh points.

It is a great initiative by a man who has given one of the best openers in the world to the country. Jwala Singh is known to go by the trend and the IPL-style auction for this tournament was loved by the youngsters.
