Afghanistan Tour of Zimbabwe 2025: Full Schedule, Squads & Other Details

The Afghanistan national cricket team has been consistently playing cricket for the last few months. This trend will continue as they have a packed schedule coming forward and it will be a great opportunity for them to make their presence felt on the international stage with a highly talented bunch of players.

After the tri-series against the UAE and Pakistan, Afghanistan took part in the Asia Cup 2025, where they failed to reach the Super Four. Following that, they are currently locking horns with Bangladesh in the white-ball series - T20Is and the one-day internationals.

They have lost the T20I series already but would be keen to make a strong comeback in the ODIs. After the series against Bangladesh ends, they will be boarding the flight to Zimbabwe for the multi-format tour.

Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan Schedule 2025

The Afghanistan Cricket Team will be touring Zimbabwe for a one-off Test match along with a three-match T20I series. The tour will begin with the longest format of the game as the game between the two teams will be played from October 20 to 24 at Harare Sports Club.

Following that the T20Is will be played from October 29 and November 2. This will be Afghanistan’s second tour to Zimbabwe, having played two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is in Zimbabwe earlier this year. They won the Tests by a 1-0 margin and would be keen to do that this time around too.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have been playing a lot of Test cricket this year. This will be their tenth Test, having already played some of the best cricket teams in the world like England, New Zealand, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Ireland in the longest format in 2025.
