His first-class debut came in October 2021 for Rajshahi Division, and within a year, he had claimed a five-wicket haul and finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in the National Cricket League with 32 wickets.

His Twenty20 debut for Khulna Tigers in January 2023 turned heads immediately as he bowled consistently between 140 and 150 km/h. But the real breakthrough came in 2024, when he got his name in the Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka, and from there, he never looked back.
