BGIS 2026 Grand Finals: Teams, Schedule, Format and Stream

The BGIS 2026 Grand Finalists were confirmed after the conclusion of the Survival Stage matches on March 17, 2026. 16 teams now remain in the fray to be crowned the next BGMI champions of India. BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Schedule

BGIS 2026 Grand Finals are scheduled between March 27, 2026 and March 29, 2026. The matches will be played in an indoor stadium at Chennai Trade Centre. The Grand Finals will have a live audience, and the BGIS tickets are already available to be purchased.

The matches will commence from 2:40 PM IST. Before that, you can expect a grand opening ceremony where all the Finalists will be introduced to the country. The matches will be streamed on the YouTube Channel of Krafton India Esports.

BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Teams

BGIS 2026 started with an open qualifier where more than 1000 teams participated to be crowned the next BGMI champions of India. After the end of multiple rigorous rounds, only 16 teams have made it to the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals. For the first time, two of the open-qualifier teams have made it to the LAN finals along with other established T1 teams.

BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Format

The BGIS 2026 Grand Finals follow a simple format. All 16 teams will play 18 matches each. The matches will be played on three consecutive days.

The maps of Erangel, Miramar and Rondo will be used to play the finals. Out of the 18 matches, 3 matches will be played on Rondo, 6 matches will be played in Miramar, and 9 matches will be played on Erangel.

At the end of 18 matches, the team with the highest cumulative points in the overall standings will be crowned the BGIS 2026 champions. In case of a tie, the number of chicken dinners will decide the higher rank.

BGIS 2026 Grand Finals Awards

The BGIS 2026 Grand Finals shall felicitate both team and individual performances. Not only will the best BGMI team with the highest points be crowned champions, but also the best players from the tournament will be given individual awards.

As of now, the Most Valuable Player rankings are led by Genesis Hunterz with 132 points. He is closely followed by Soul Joker and Soul Legit, who are at 127 and 125 points respectively. Soul Nakul is leading the best IGL of the tournament rankings with a 1.62 rating. He is followed by LEFP Honey and OG Aaru, who are at 1.48 and 1.45, respectively.
