BMSD 2026 Could Return to Hyderabad for LAN Event

The third BGMI tournament in the yearly esports cycle, Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown, is coming soon, and we already have the leaks about its host. BMSD 2026 is going to take place in Hyderabad, India, based on hints and information from the previous teaser and tournament listings.

KRAFTON has yet to officially announce the hosting city and the actual LAN location for the upcoming BMSD, but Hyderabad seems to be favoured, having hosted BMSD 2025 before.

BMSD 2026 Venue Expected to Be Hyderabad

As per the roadmap of KRAFTON India Esports, the BMSD 2026 will be held between August and September 2026. Social media reports hinting at BMSD 2026 returning to Hyderabad have raised speculations about it being the venue of the tournament.

BMSD is the pathway for the Indian teams to two international tournaments, PMGC and BMIC, and features the best players from the region. This year, some underdog teams may get included based on the outcomes in BGMI Naye Khiladi.

KRAFTON Continues Its Multi-City Esports Strategy

In 2026, KRAFTON hosted all official tournaments in different Indian cities. While the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals took place in Chennai, the BMPS 2026 Grand Finals were hosted in Jaipur. If Hyderabad gets selected as the BMSD 2026 host, then it will be the first time a city hosts two consecutive BGMI events in a year.

The BMSD 2026 will see the participation of some of the best BGMI teams of India in a LAN setting. It is expected that KRAFTON will announce these details of the tournament close to the event itself. Meanwhile, it is recommended that people refer to the BGMI BMPS Winners List of 2022 to 2026 to witness how India’s best BGMI teams have evolved before the BMSD 2026 event.
