FC 26 Title Update Version 1.5.0 Brings A Lot of Gameplay Tweaks

A day before, when the FUT Birthday was about to make headlines, FC 26 Title Update Version 1.5.0 was announced by EA Sports. The whole update is likely to go live pretty soon, as no official date has been announced. Following the norms, several platforms, such as PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, will be eligible for this update.

The New Title Update Fixes A Lot Of Gameplay Issues

A recent X post from @EASFCDirect has notified the FUT community regarding the update. The post was made at 9:31 PM IST on March 4, 2026. As discussed, EA Sports addressed a few gameplay adjustments.

These include improved passing, better Power Shot, Chip Shot, and Tiki Taka playstyle. Apart from that, the developers also revealed a couple of Career and Clubs mode changes.

Gameplay Changes

From Passing to Tiki Taka Playstyle, some key areas of gameplay have been fixed in the FC 26 Title Update 1.5.0. Here's a detailed overview:

Passing

Ground Passing accuracy improved. Players who feature the Incisive Pass playstyle will now have better accuracy on all kinds of passing.

Power Shot

EA developers have improved the trajectory and accuracy of Power Shot. This will help the community score some long-range screamers from outside of the box.

The virtual players on the field will now have improved chip-shot accuracy.

Tiki Taka PlayStyle

Even though the effectiveness of the Tiki Taka playstyle hasn't really changed much, the developers decided to tweak it overall. The gap between the players to trigger this playstyle has been reduced. The change has been made to avoid extremely accurate passing during the game, which would otherwise exploit the opponents.

Inventive PlayStyle

The new patch claims to have buffed the accuracy of lofted ground and through passes using the Inventive PlayStyle and PlayStyle+.

Additional Updates

The speed of specific skill moves, such as Feint, Heel Chop, and Fake Shot, has been increased by 5%.

Career Mode Changes

Carrer Mode will see some dynamic changes with the FC 26 Title Update Version 1.5.0 release. Several names, such as Ronaldinho, Fernando Torres, Gareth Bale, and Aya Miyama, have been added to the ICONs in Career Mode. Apart from that, a few dynamic development plans have been introduced to put an accurate vision that properly reflects a player's role.

Clubs Mode Changes

The Level Cap, Max Attributes, and others have been increased in the Clubs mode. Here's a brief:

• The Archetype-specific attributes' maximum range has been increased.
• The Archetype level cap has been increased to 90 from 80.
• The Customisableplaystyle slots have been increased to 8 from 7. It'll be unlocked post Level 90.
