FC 26 is set to release the highly anticipated UEFA Primetime promo on November 7, 2023. According to trusted sources, the promo is set to introduce a new method for upgrading UEFA Primetime cards. You will be required to do some kind of side quests with your club to unlock the full potential of these cards. The cards of this promo shall be upgradable under a special 'player upgrade path', which we have discussed in detail further in this article.

FC 26 UEFA Primetime is going to go live today at 11:30 PM IST. You will be seeing some former legends as well as current stars in this promo. However, if you want to use any of the cards of this promo to the best of their abilities, you will have to upgrade them under the special upgrade path designed for them.

One of the trusted FC 26 sources, @FutSheriff, took to its official X ( formerly Twitter) to reveal the UEFA Primetime Player Upgrade Path. The tweet was made on November 6th, 2025, at 5:02 PM UTC.

The tweet also disclosed the criteria for upgrading the FC 26 UEFA Primetime Player under this special upgrade path. You can also find the exact stats and stats boost the player shall receive after a criterion is accomplished. As per the tweet, the FC 26 UEFA Primetime Player Upgrade Path is going to have six stages and some challenging objectives to overcome.

How To Upgrade a Card Under FC 26 UEFA Primetime Player Upgrade Path

Once the FC 26 UEFA Primetime Player is released, you will be able to upgrade its stats and playstyles in five different stages. The details of all the objectives and stats boost the card will receive are mentioned in the following table:

FC 26 UEFA Primetime Player Upgrade Path

In order to upgrade the player under the FC 26 Players Upgrade Path, it first needs to be released. Once released, you have to ensure your club gets at least 7 points. On completion of it, you will get a +1 boost on the OVR of the player. Then you will have to ensure the UEFA Primetime Player makes an appearance in a winning match to get a playstyle boost.

In the fourth stage, there will be separate objectives based on the position your player operates in. If your player is an attacker, they'll have to score or assist in 4 consecutive matches. If your player is a defender, then they will have to keep a clean sheet and not get booked in 4 consecutive matches. The last two objectives include finishing in the top 8 in the league and scoring a goal in 4 separate games.
