Following a couple of months' hiatus, the Mexican league has reportedly signed a deal with the video game giants, EA Sports. So, the EA FC Liga MX deal might have finally happened, and the reunion will be applicable from the next iteration. While the FC 26 Neymar return is already big news for the franchise, the FC 27 Liga MX Licensing Deal is something which might steal the spotlight.

While EA authorities are yet to make this news public, insider sources of Sportico have mentioned that the deal will be active till June 2029. On that note, let's discuss whatever we know about the latest EA FC deal.

Liga MX Will Return To EA FC Titles

The last time fans played a few nail-biting matches with the Mexican team, we were still calling the franchise FIFA. After that, Konami held the exclusive deal with the domestic league till 2025. While the EA FC 27 Liga MX Return might not be far-fetched anymore, there's a catch. It's not sure whether EA will keep all 18 teams from the league in-game, according to one of the insider sources of Sportico.

The rights for a few of the teams are being held by the Mexican Soccer authority itself. Another twist is that the pact, apparently, is not exclusive. Therefore, it opens up a big opportunity for Liga MX officials to make deals with other franchises. It means Konami might have a chance to secure a license with a few clubs on an individual level. It'll be interesting to see what EA has to say about this on the official notice.
