FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event Guide: Tips, Tricks and Strategies

EA's Team of the Year has finally arrived, and you can pack many high-rated cards during the time the event is live. The celebrations have started with the release of the first week pack. You, however, do not have to wait any longer to know what's coming in the upcoming weeks.

Earlier this week, the Team of the Year was announced by EA. While we know which players are coming into the game with some of the highest ratings, let's see the details of FC Mobile 26 TOTY promo.

FC Mobile TOTY 2026 Event Chapters

Similar to the previous main events, in TOTY 2026, there will be multiple chapters. Players need to spend the event-exclusive resources, such as the tokens and draft vouchers, in each of the chapters if they wish to collect players of different positions.

Main Chapter

The first chapter of the FC Mobile TOTY 2026 Event is the main chapter. Here, the TOTY Icon Pass will be featured. Whether you are looking to get your hands on the free tier rewards or you have purchased the premium pass, you can access the event-exclusive pass from here.

If you are planning on purchasing the TOTY Icon Star Pass, make sure to do it on 15th January. Given the new draft system announced by EA, you want to have every single advantage to yourself from day 1 to get the most out of this event.

Other than the pass rewards, there are certain milestone rewards you can claim from the chapter. Moreover, the skill game and matches will also be displayed here, similar to Festive Fixtures.

Ultra Challenge

These are special challenges, the completion of which will give you free TOTY tokens. The quantity of tokens depends on the difficulty of the challenges. The greater the difficulty, the more are the number of tokens you can make by completing it. You can find the details in this table:

TOTY Attacker

The Attacker chapter will be featured in the event from day 1, similar to the main chapter. A dice game was previously predicted to be featured in the chapter. But after yesterday's announcement, there won't be any dice game in this chapter. Here, players can only roll their luck using draft vouchers. You can either try your luck with one voucher at a time or purchase the 10x bundle.

TOTY Midfielder

As of now, we have yet to receive any official information on the midfield section of the FC Mobile TOTY 2026. However, it is expected that the section will feature the same draft format as the attackers. This will be released in the upcoming weeks.

TOTY Defenders

Similar to Midfielders, we have yet to receive any official news on the FC Mobile TOTY 2026 defenders. As per the latest speculations, the first pack of defenders will arrive next week.

Icon

While there are Icon cards featured in almost every main event of the game nowadays, thanks to TOTY card designs and high OVR, the event is especially popular among players who grind for Icon cards. We already had a sneak peek at which Icons we are receiving from the event.

Among the top players, Zico has 117 OVR in his card, which is the highest in the game right now. He is followed by Pirlo, Kuyt, and others.

UTOTY

While the TOTY 2026 has already been announced, in FC Mobile, the chapter will not be accessible for 21 days from the event kick-off.

It is expected that the section will feature skill games that would allow the players to try their luck with some of the rare and exclusive cards of the game.

FC Mobile TOTY 2026 Event Icon Evolution Cards

The FC Mobile TOTY 2026 Event Icon Evolution Cards work differently from the usual drafts. You need to finish ‘Icon Challenges’ at least 20 times to get a chance at Icon selection. All the icon selection cards have a +2 upgrade. The best part about this is that you will get to sign the card of your choice after completing all the challenges. Kohler, Brolin, and Butragueno, all with an OVR of 112, are featured in this section. You can even upgrade these cards using ‘Icon Exchanges’ to boost their OVR up to 114. FC Mobile 26 TOTY Draft System

FC Mobile 26 Draft System has been the highlight of this TOTY campaign so far. This replaced the traditional Shard system in FC Mobile ehich used to give guaranteed cards to the players. In the new system, you will basically have to purchase ticket vouchers, which will help you pull players from TOTY packs. If you don't get the players of your choice, you can exchange the pulled cards for phase 2 tokens, and these tokens will help you pull more players in the new packs. FC Mobile 26 Draft Vouchers

TOTY Player Exchanges

You can use the Phase 2 tokens that you grabbed by exchanging useless cards from the first pulls in the TOTY Player Exchanges. The exchanges are demarcated based on the OVR ratings of the cards. Exchanging higher OVR cards will cost you more player tokens and vice versa. It may also include time-limited players.

FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event: No Shards Confirmed

According to the livestream, it has been confirmed that there won't be any shard system in the FC Mobile 26 TOTY event. Players would need to collect draft tokens to claim their favourite player.

The player packs feature stunning walkout animations. Players can collect the draft vouchers from the event itself in addition to the store and exchange section. If you pack a player that you do not want to use, you can exchange them for draft tokens in the exchange section. As of now, one draft takes one voucher, and 10 drafts take 10 vouchers.
