FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event: Everything You Need To Know

It's finally time for EA's Team of the Year! The celebrations are about to kickstart globally in a couple of days. You, however, do not have to wait until Thursday to know what's coming.

Earlier this week, the Team of the Year was announced by EA. While we know which players are coming into the game with some of the highest ratings, let's see the FC Mobile 26 TOTY release date and the other details.

FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event Release Date

The 15th of January 2026 is the official FC Mobile 26 TOTY release date. While the date has been confirmed by many leakers on social media, EA has officially confirmed it with their official livestream today.

Earlier today, @EASFCMOBILE took it to their official X to share a glimpse of which icons are coming into the game. In the livestream, the official announcement of the first icons was revealed.

There is a dedicated Icon upgrade section in the TOTY Icons chapter. The skill game challenges to collect event tokens have been followed in TOTY, similar to how it was in the main chapter of Festive Fixtures.

FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event: Glimpse at the confirmed Icons

With a 117 rating, Zico is coming into the game. Andrea Pirlo is also arriving with a 116-rated CM card. Alessandro Nesta is coming into FC Mobile with a 115-rated CB card.

As you can see, many heroes and icons are coming into the game with boosted ratings. All players will have access to these icons and heroes from Day 1.

FC Mobile 26 TOTY Event: No Shards Confirmed

According to the livestream, it has been confirmed that there won't be any shard system in the FC Mobile 26 TOTY event. Players would need to collect draft tokens to claim their favourite player.

The player packs feature stunning walkout animations. Players can collect the draft vouchers from the event itself in addition to the store and exchange section. If you pack a player that you do not want to use, you can exchange them for draft tokens in the exchange section. As of now, one draft takes one voucher, and 10 drafts take 10 vouchers.

As per the livestream, there will be more than one pool of players where you can spend the draft vouchers. Please note that not all the chapters will be accessible from day one. For example, you can access UTOTY after 21 days. Check out all the players you can pack as FC 26 TOTY leaked already.
