The new game, EA FC 26, is just around the corner. The English Top Division, the Premier League, have now revealed the new Player of the Month (POTM) for the current 2025-26 season. Everton winger Jack Grealish has been announced as the POTM for the month of August. As soon as the announcement came through, EA FC fans flooded social media with their opinions on whether he would arrive as a POTM card in the new game. There is still a bleak chance that Grealish might arrive in EA FC 25 as a POTM card.

EA FC has already announced the Player of the Month cards for some of the other top European leagues, like Serie A. ‘Player of the Month’ cards are released 12 times a year. POTM cards are some of the best cards in the game that perfectly blend with the latest meta. The previous trends from the game suggest that the current Premier League's POTM is going to be a sure-shot entrant into the game, but which version remains a mystery.

One of the official news sources in the EA FC community, @premierleague, took to their official X(formerly Twitter) to announce Everton's winger, Jack Grealish, as the Player of the Month for the English Premier League, August 2025. @premierleague posted the tweet on September 12th, 2025, at 10:00 AM UTC.

The tweet also suggested that the new POTM may arrive in the game. An official confirmation about Jack's new POTM card is still awaited from the official sources.

EA FC Premier League POTM Card To Arrive in-game

Jack Grealish's Everton Player of the Month card may either come as a squad-building challenge or an objective. If it does arrive as an SBC, it is more likely to be a free one, following in the past trends. It remains to be seen whether this POTM card is released for both FC 25 and FC 26. However, once released, it is going to be a must-pick for your Ultimate Team.

The odds of it arriving in EA FC 26 are comparatively higher as the game is going to launch next week. The leakers have been disclosing multiple card designs over the past few weeks; however, none of them have yet hinted at a new SBC design. Grealish may well be one of the first of the FC 26 SBCs.
