The new manager is none other than the Special one, Jose Mourinho, who arrived with a new playing style and two link-up styles. Jose Mourinho Arrives in a New Manager Pack

The new eFootball Jose Mourinho manager pack was released on September 10, 2026. The manager pack is listed at a price of 750 eFootball coins, and it includes Jose Mourinho as the manager and Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz as the two highlight cards.

The new Jose Mourinho eFootball manager comes with a 90 rating and the ‘Long Ball Counter’ playing style. However, players can switch between two more playing styles with the Special One.

As effective as the new manager pack seems, it's the two link-ups that make it underwhelming. The two link-up playing styles cannot be equipped with cards that are meta-centric. You can check the details here:

New Jose Mourinho Playing Styles

Jose Mourinho eFootball manager has three playing styles in total. While Long Ball Counter works best when rated at 90, the other two, Quick Counter and Long Ball, are rated at 82 and 75, respectively. The manager provides a +1 boost to Finishing and Aggression. If you switch to the latter two playing styles, the ratings of your dream team players will be lowered significantly.

The 2 link-up styles of the new Jose Mourinho eFootball manager are Shadow Link A and 1-2 Cut In C. Both styles require a 'Deep Lying Forward' CF. Shadow Link A also requires a 'Classic Number 10' AMF, which is a pretty rare card.

The two highlight cards are fodder even for a free-to-play team. The Long Ball Counter playing style has been heavily nerfed after the eFootball v6.0.0 update.

While the 90 ratings on LBC are good to have, the two boosters on Aggression and Finishing divide the bonus between the attackers and defenders in the team. Neither one gets stacked to carry the match. If you have other Long Ball Counter managers like Fabio Capello, M Allergi and Nilko Kovac, better not invest in this pack.
