Konami Announces eFootball v6.0.0 Season Update with Free Rewards: Mark Your Calendars

The eFootball v6.0.0 update is just a couple of days away, and the community is already hyped about what's to come in the new season. Konami has dropped some of the latest information about the upcoming version update so that the players can be prepared. If you have any remaining chance deals or nominating contracts, use them now as they won't be carried over in the next version.

eFootball v6.0.0 Season Update Arrives This Week

Konami has officially confirmed the eFootball v6.0.0 season update release date as August 13, 2026. The eFootball Season update will give the game a completely new look with new features, cards, modes and managers. Before the update, eFootball will go into a maintenance period for over 24 hours between August 12 and 13.

Konami has already disclosed the size of the game for all platforms following the update. Android users, make sure to keep at least 3.1 GB of free storage before the eFootball v6.0.0 season update rolls out. For iOS, players need to keep 3.5 GB of storage empty on their device.

The eFootball schedule maintenance before the update will start at 13:00 UTC on August 12 and is expected to go on till 08:00 UTC on August 13, 2026.

The eFootball coins and GPs that you have on your Konami ID will be carried over to the eFootball v6.0.0 Season along with all the Epic, Epic Big Time, Highlight-Showtime and Showtime cards. Some standard cards are subject to removal based on new licensing.

Other Changes Coming in eFootball Season Update

The last eFootball Connect stream from July 28 had already revealed some of the new features coming in the eFootball v6.0.0 version update. From double-linkup managers to new team playstyles, here's all that's known to arrive so far this Thursday.

• Custom Tournament: New game mode where players can host mini tournaments and customise everything from the number of participants to the type of matches.
• New Team Playstyle: Sixth eFootball playstyle ‘Overload’ will arrive with some new managers.
• Daily Super Play: The daily game penalty event shall be replaced with a new mini -game ‘Daily Super Play' where you need to score from open play to get rewards. The daily game box will also be replaced with a new pack and new Lap rewards.
• Step Up Line Objective: A new Step Up Line objective will arrive upon season reset.
• Double Link Up Managers: The new managers will not only come with 90 player proficiency but also two link-up playstyles that will completely change the in-game meta.
