eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals: All You Need To Know

eFootball is currently one of the highest-rated football games that has shown immense growth over the last two decades. Since the game got global recognition, Konami began organizing the eFootball Championship, giving fans more excitement and joy. The eFootball Championship Open is the biggest esports competition of the eFootball series. With the eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals all set to be held in Japan, the fans should buckle up as they are just a few days away from witnessing the dynamic tournament finals. The World Finals will begin on July 20, 2025, with the Group stage and continue till July 21, 2025.

eFootball Championship 2025 Overview

The eFootball Championship 2025 is organized by Konami and is divided into two elements: eFootball Championship Open and eFootball Club Events. It is open for all users across the globe who can compete using both console and Mobile. The eFootball Championship Open is a global competition that includes both casual and professional players.

On the other hand, eFootball Club Events are directly sponsored by official partner clubs, determining the top fans of the clubs. The eFootball World Finals will consist of 32 players, who will compete to win the title of the World Champion. Winners of both the eFootball Championship Open and the Club Event will compete in the World Finals.

eFootball Championship 2025 Format

The Round 1 qualifiers for the tournament were held in November 2024, while Rounds 2 and 3 were held in February and April 2025. The top two players from each regional qualifier made it to the World Finals. The Club events were held between October 2024 and March 2025 by clubs like FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and more, with the winners earning direct spots to the World Finals.

The upcoming World Finals will feature 32 players, of which 16 will be Console players and 16 will be Mobile players. The finals will follow the group stage and then the single-elimination knockouts.

The biggest eFootball tournament will feature notable names as Hosts, Pundits and commentators. It includes, Kate J, Harry Sugiyama and more.

• Kate J: The famous Japanese-American content creator is all set to host the eFootball 2025 World Festival in Tokyo. Her presence will definitely lead to better engagement with the global audience. The Japanese player, DRX Tess will represent FC Barcelona in the eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals in the Console Category. On the other hand, Brazil's Juninho_eFootball will represent the club in the Mobile category. Both players earned their finale spots after competing in tough contests in their regional qualifiers, which shows how skilled they are in eFootball.

Manchester United

Manchester United will see the Indonesian player Zeus_Rommyhw represent them in the Console category. While the Japanese star Gu_038games will represent them in the Mobile category. Both players delivered a dominant performance in the regional qualifiers, earning the spot to the global stage.

FC Bayern München

Spain's M_Mestre will represent the club in Console Category, having claimed his spot after defeating Eduardinho_PR in the finals. On the other hand, Thailand's Jxmkt will represent Munchen in the Mobile Category. He is a two-time national champion and claimed the third place in last year's eFootball World Finals.

AC Milan

AC Milan is set to be represented by Italian player Ettorito97 in the Console Category, who earned his spot after a phenomenal performance in an intense Club Final match. Their Mobile Category will be represented by Indonesian player RRQ_Huda, who displayed an exceptional performance in the Mobile Grand Finale.

FC Internazionale Milano

Brazil's HenrykinhO__ defeated ArdaGolaaazooo in the highly competitive final and earned his spot in the finals to represent Milano in the Console Category. While Georgian player N_Apriamashvili earned the spot in the Mobile Category after defeating PSS_Sakti in the finals.

Arsenal FC

Japanese star DRX Ax will represent Arsenal FC in the Console Category. While Moroccan player AN10_Tienes will represent the club in the Mobile Category.

eJ League

The eJ League will be represented by the champions of the eJ.League Football 2025 Season, Mayageka and Tennensui. The 25-year-old Mayageka will represent in the Console Category and will surely give a tough challenge to his opponents. He was the winner in the Console category of the eFootball Championship 2024 World Finals. On the other hand, Tennensui will represent eJ League in the Mobile Category and is expected to dominate the finals and give tough competition to the opponents.
