The Mobile 9th anniversary campaign will finish within the next few days, and the next weekly update will bring fresh in-game content. An International Cup Campaign On The Cards

KONAMI is going to bring a new campaign and mode in the next eFootball update. As per leaks, players can expect the campaign to start either this week or next.

With the FIFA World Cup 2026 starting on June 11, the new eFootball campaign will align with its timeline. We have compiled all the details of this upcoming update based on past events and campaigns. You can check the next section to learn more.

What Can You Expect From eFootball International Cup?

Players can expect a lot of things from the eFootball International Cup, since it's obvious to last more than 4 weeks. You can check the details below:

New Campaign

The eFootball International Cup Campaign is sure to be the next big thing in the game ahead of the seasonal update. Konami is expected to bring a similar campaign to the 2022 International Cup, where you will get different campaign objectives and a hub offering rewards such as coins, banners, badges, skill tokens, position tokens, and more.

International Cup Event

You can expect two exclusive eFootball International Cup events to be part of this campaign. The first one will be an authentic offline tournament with 32 or more national teams. The rosters will consist of both licensed and authentic players.

This will closely replicate the groups, gameplay, and format of the real FIFA World Cup 2026. You will have to pick a team, select a level of difficulty, and lead it to glory. A PvP mode event shall also arrive.

It's still unclear whether or not the mode will be a full-fledged esports event like the one in 2022. If it does arrive as an esports event, there will be multiple rounds of qualifiers and ranking matches. Players will first select their country of residence and play the rounds with Dream Team.

New Packs

Based on past trends, plenty of new packs will arrive in the game during the eFootball International Cup campaign. You will be getting new packs of the licensed national teams, like Argentina, Brazil, England, France, and more. These packs will consist of an Epic and 10 Highlight Cards. Some of them may even bring new managers and cost around 1500 to 2000 eFootball Coins.

New Cards

Special Epic-big time cards are going to be the main attractions of the International Cup. These will be released in special 250-player packs with unique celebrations. The cards may also have a special World Cup theme.
