The eFootball Master League is going to arrive this Thursday, April 9, 2026. Since then, the community has been speculating whether it will be similar to the mode that used to exist in PES days.

Here are all the features of the eFootball Master League based on the leaks:

Life System

eFootball Master League matches can be played in exchange for 'Life'. 'Life' is like the currency for this mode. It will regenerate with time, but you will also find an option to purchase it using eFootball coins.

Life also comes with an expiry date. It will expire and won't be carried over once the season ends. So, you will have to be careful with the number of lives you purchase during an event.

Match Types

Two game modes will be available for play, as per the eFootball Master League leaks. These two modes are:

• Synergy Match: Here you will be able to simulate the results of the match. It will depend on the synergy, stats and chemistry. The team's synergy is a reflection of the combined stats and abilities of all the players in roster. It will depend on factors like player ratings, form, stamina and active bonus. If your synergy is more than your opposition, you will win the match. Some conditions that will drag down the team's synergy include poor positioning of players and the absence of players in important positions.
• User-controlled match: Here, you will play the matches manually, and this will reward your team with more followers.

Followers and Rewards System

The eFootball Master League mode requires you to gain supporters by playing the matches. Winning matches and scoring incredible goals helps you to get more followers.

The higher the follower count, the better the rewards you will receive. There will also be a global ranking for players based on the number of supporters they have. You will have to play at least one match to get a rank.

Dynamic Episodes

This is the most exciting feature of the eFootball Master League. Random events will occur before each match day that will affect your team dynamics. These episodes will either be positive or negative in nature:

• Positive Episodes: This is expected to include Line Inspiration that will boost the XP of defenders, midfielders, and forwards. There will be vacations, player chemistry, special training sessions and more. Sometimes, sudden development can turn your standard players into featured stars via progression events.
• Negative Events: It will include the match results that will impact the morale of the team. Player Illness, Clashes, Fatigue, Homesickness.

Injuries and Transfers

3 types of injuries can happen to the players: Minor, Medium and Severe. You cannot sell or release players during the time they are injured. There will be a separate transfer window to sign and release players. You will have to use the mode's currency to even get managers.

There will be a recommended transfers section where you can sign players at good prices. There will also be options for automatic player selections based on player form.

The eFootball Master League will work in seasons. After each season, the players and managers will be reset, and you have to once again build the team from scratch.
