Matchday 2 of the UEFA Nations League is currently ongoing, and we've seen some astronomical performances throughout the week. Therefore, this week's POTW will be a bit different, and player cards will represent their countries instead of their respective clubs. The likes of Haaland, Parrot, Yamal, Olise, and many popular faces are likely to debut or return in eFootball POTW Worldwide 01 October 2026.

Following the standard norms, a total of 11 players from the UEFA Nations League and ongoing Friendlies will be up for grabs. Let's check out the full list and why they have secured their spot in the much-awaited eFootball POTW pack.

eFootball POTW Worldwide 1 October 2026 Predictions Are Finally Here

As with every Thursday, the weekly eFootball POTW Worldwide 01 October 2026 will be available in the store. And the mechanics are the same as before. If anyone wants to try their Lady Luck after the first free try, they can spend 100 eFootball Coins for each pull. With the ongoing Nations League matches, this week will feature international player cards.

Konami, on the other hand, hasn't posted any threads on social media with a first look at a couple of players. The other content creators too haven't posted anything. Therefore, we've come up with a few names after both matchday performances.

The Norwegian goal-scoring machine, Erling Haaland, is likely to lead this week's pack with a Fox in the Box playstyle. The Manchester City striker is currently the highest goalscorer of the tournament so far. Troy Parrott, on the other hand, arriving as a Goal Poacher, became the star performer for the Republic of Ireland.

Atletico Madrid's star midfielder, Alex Baena, showcased an astronomical performance as the perfect Hole Player, as he both scored and assisted in the match. Meanwhile, both Michael Olise and Joao Felix contributed in both match weeks to help their nation stay at the top of their respective groups. We'll come to the midfielders, but before that, check out our recent coverage of eFootball New Legends arriving soon in the game.

eFootball POTW Worldwide Stats and Predicted Player Cards

We've already mentioned eFootball POTW Worldwide Stats for the forwards. Coming to the midfield area, two of the midfielders played really well. Ermin Mahmić contributed to both attacking and defensive aspects. Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid star Luka Modric broke the deadlock as an Orchestrator in a match against the Czech Republic. Before talking about defenders, let's take a look at the full POTW list for 1st October, 2026:

Coming to the defenders, Alessandro Bastoni and Konstantinos Tsimikas scored a goal and provided an assist, respectively. Their contributions secured an important victory. Lastly, Harry Souttar, coming as a Build Up defender, did a great job in the first friendly match against Brazil.

That's all we have on eFootball POTW Worldwide, arriving on 1st October, 2026. All of the players we've mentioned above have contributed tons for their national teams and are likely to confirm their rightful spot in the POTW squad.
