eFootball 2026 is about to introduce the first pack of its popular Player of the Week pack for the current season. This time, Konami has also played with the concept art of the cards, adding a bit darker green texture to them. The first POTW pack has been leaked by some of the most trusted sources in the eFootball community. The first POTW pack in eFootball 2026 is rumoured to have eleven players in it.

Player of the Week cards are one of the most popular highlight cards in the game. POTW cards are released every week and house the best performing players in a week from across the top football leagues. They are an easy source of getting high-rated, reliable cards that can be utilised both in the user's dream team and backup squads. The POTW are cards equipped with some special skills; however, the user cannot train these cards or add new skills manually.

One of the most trusted news sources in the eFootball community took to their socials to leak the arrival of the first POTW pack in eFootball 2026. @Peshubapp posted the tweet on August 20th, 2025, at 10:20 AM UTC.

The tweet also revealed ratings, playstyle and stats of some of the leaked Player of the Week cards set to arrive following the end of weekly maintenance on August 21st, 2025. The POTW cards are also equipped with some special skills despite being only highlights.

eFootball 2026's first Player of the Week pack shall be released on August 21st, 2025. This pack is rumoured to include eleven players. Three of the eleven players' cards shall be equipped with special boosters. These boosters increase the maximum ratings of the cards when their conditions are set to either 'A' or 'B'. Three POTW cards have so far been released from the upcoming pack. These cards include Barcelona's young star Lamine Yamal, Manchester City's Tijjani Reijnders and Liverpool's CF Hugo Ekitike. The details of the three leaked cards are mentioned below in the following table.

All these cards also have one special skill in their arsenal. Lamine Yamal is rumoured to have ‘Prolific winger’, Tijjani Reijnders is equipped with 'No Look Pass', and Hugo Ekitike is anticipated to have ‘Through passing’. The official confirmation of the stats is still awaited from the sides of Konami. The details of the remaining players shall be known once they become available in the game after the minor weekly update.
