Football Manager 26 Beta Track Update: Shouts Are Back

Football Manager 26 Beta Track Update is knocking on the door. In the coming week that starts on December 8, 2025, Football Manager will receive its one of the most significant updates so far.
The highlight of this Football Manager 26 Beta Track Update has to be the long-awaited return ofShouts feature. Not only that, it will also introduce a range of improvements to the match engine, loan screens, player searches, and training tools.

Football Manager 26 Beta Track Update: Shouts Are Back

Since launching Football Manager 26 Phase of Betas - Advanced Access on the 25th of March 2023, Sports Interactive have seen a 51% increase in Match Time over FM24 due to the implementation of Dynamic Highlights as well as the introduction of 2D Radar and new behaviours from players and managers.

In FM24, a staggering 90% of managers used a very fast speed to view highlights; however, as we move forward into FM26, this figure has now dropped to 50%. As a result of the removal of the Player Shouts feature, for a section of managers, gameplay feels slower and less interactive than previous titles.

With that said, Player Shouts that were created in FM24 will return, delivering a shout or order the next time the ball goes out of play. Sports Interactive confirms restoring Player Shouts is a priority to improve Matchday engagement. However, it has also planned to replace Shouts with a new and more advanced feature in a future update.

Other Key Features in Football Manager 26 Beta Track Update

In addition to adding Shout functionality for managers, SI has included many exciting additions in this first update and players looking into individual attribute changes, such as the Top 10 Fastest Players in Football Manager 2026, may find these tweaks especially useful:

• Enhanced loan screens for easier player management.

• Updated player search tools for more efficient scouting.

• Mouse wheel support when making transfer offers.

• New player training tooltips for improved coaching.

• Previously announced match engine upgrades to enhance realism.

Furthermore, SI is working on many other options for greater Matchday Participation through their recent Enhancements of In-Match Stats and future developments of Post-Match Analytics to support effective performance evaluation.

The Steam Public Beta version of the Update will become available later this week, which will allow players to experience and provide feedback on all improvements prior to its formal release.
