WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass: Should You Buy the Pass Each Season?

Visual Concepts has initiated a new process that completely disowns the old DLC model. 2K Entertainment is making a huge tweak to its gameplay mechanics by introducing WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass. It's quite similar to the traditional battle pass system for any popular title available in the market.

While the Ringside Pass follows the traditional BP concept, having standard free and premium paths, allowing everyone to access freebies, as well as exclusive content. And for everyone's surprise, the rewards will never expire! Before you get too excited, this article will explain everything about the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass release schedule and its format.

WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Format and How to Earn Ringside XP?

The official blogpost from 2K26 has already posted a Ringside report briefing the process in detail. The Ringside Pass will solely follow a battle pass structure featuring two paths: free and premium. Whether you purchase the Standard Edition or the exclusive WWE 2K26 Monday Night War Edition, you can access the free path. Alternatively, all the WWE special editions do not have the same rewards. Before going into the details, let's take a look at the overall roadmap of the rewards:

WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Rewards (All Reward Paths)

Both Free and Premium tracks of the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass will feature 40 tiers. While the free path will be filled with 60 rewards, the premium route will feature the same number, raising the total number to 120 for advanced version users. While the free path has myFACTION packs, Island Banners, and other common rewards, the premium WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Rewards will feature DLC Superstars, CAS Parts, Personas, and Island taunts.

Moreover, a sneak peek has also revealed that Season 1 Pass premium track will include four playable superstars, two new champions, and the same number of arenas. Additionally, the first DLC character can be automatically accessed once you unlock the premium path. The remaining will be unlocked by progressing through the first 20 tiers.

The 2K Authority will surely provide great value for the money. Luckily, if you own a special edition, both free and premium rewards can be accessed simultaneously. Exclusive edition owners, such as the WWE 2K26 Attitude Era Edition, can obtain the premium path without wasting a single penny, which, however, is not the case for standard edition owners. They will need to spend the buy the Premium Ringside Pass to enjoy the premium rewards.

How to Progress in the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass

Both free and premium paths will feature 40 tiers, and the routes are complemented with 120 rewards (60 free + 60 premium). Players can access rewards from both sections at the same time. As stated previously, you will need RXP (Ringside Experience points) to complete the Battle Pass.

You will need to grind out the game's above-mentioned game modes to complete each tier. The most surprising fact 2K revealed is that, in case you impose a backlog on yourself and the next season's ringside pass emerges in-game, you will still have the time to complete the whole thing with some caveats.

In case you think that the rewards are not worth the grind and decide to skip to the next one, you can't do that. You can only move forward once you complete the backlog for the current one. All WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Release Dates

According to the 2K authority, there'll be a total of six Ringside Passes available in WWE 2K26. While the first one can be accessed on March 6 by exclusive editions, the standard edition owners can access it on March 13, 2026. The developers have also unveiled the future roadmap for the upcoming content.
