Loyalty is a difficult thing to find in modern football. Gone are the days of one club men like Ryan Giggs, Tony Adams or Paul Scholes. That being said, there are still many players in the Premier League presently who have played around or over a decade at the same club. . Let us look the longest serving players in the Premier League.

This list also happens to feature certain young players like Bukayo Saka and Reece James who have come through the academy and become important players for their sides. It must be noted that despite that there is still a paucity of one club men.

Tom Cairney is actually tied for the amount of days he’s been at Fulham with that of Joe Gomez at Liverpool but the Fulham skipper makes this list on the virtue of having played more number of games. The midfielder has seen his club through multiple relegations and promotions and continues to still play an important role as the club haven’t managed to establish themselves as a solid midtable club under Marco Silva. Cairney is someone who is incredibly loved at the Craven Cottage.

Jamaal Lascelles has been someone who has seen Newcastle get relegated and then come back to the Premier League and establish themselves as a side fighting for European places. He has been the club captain since 2016 and in the time has seen the club even reach the Champions League. Although injuries have always hampered him from perhaps achieving his true potential, Lascelles has been an important player for the Magpies for over a decade now. Even now, with him being out with an ACL injury, Eddie Howe has emphasized on his importance in the dressing room.

Ben Davies is an interesting one here. The Welshman has been at Spurs over a decade and has seen everything, apart from a trophy. At the club, he has played with some incredible footballers, most of whom have since left for greener pastures. Through his time at the London Stadium, Cresswell has scored some great goals, in particular freekicks and is recognised as one of the best set piece takers in the Premier League at the moment.

In this case, Brighton have even made it to the Europa League, and Dunk has played a massive role, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best CBs in the last 5 years.
