Folarin Balogun’s Early Life and Family

Born in New York City, Balogun was born to Nigerian parents on July 3, 2001. The youngster spent his childhood in England after he emigrated to London at the age of two. Having a passion for soccer throughout his childhood, Folarin Balogun was fully supported by his family to pursue soccer as a main profession growing up.

Club Career

After joining Arsenal’s youth academy at the age of eight, Balogun showcased impressive form and intense goal-scoring abilities. In 2020, after outstanding U-16 performances, he made his senior debut for Arsenal. After making his debut in the UEFA Europa League, Balogun made his Premier League debut against Brentford in 2021. Balogun was further sent on loan to various clubs including English side Middlesbrough and French club Reims.
