Diogo Jota Tribute Planned for Liverpool vs Wolves

The Wolves' supporters unveiled a tifo ahead of their first Premier League match against Manchester City at the Molineux Stadium, which depicted Diogo Jota celebrating a goal for them. The tifo read ‘We'll Remember You When You Walk in the Fields of Gold."

Liverpool too showed their respect with a minute's silence observed ahead of their season opener against Bournemouth, followed by applause from the fans in every home game since. The Liverpool fans, holding red and white placards, arranged themselves to form the ‘DJ20’ and ‘AS30’, the shirt numbers of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva, during the moment of silence. They also sang a heartwarming rendition of their anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone," as the players walked out from the tunnel.

The presence of Diogo Jota children in Liverpool vs Wolves once again shows how football unites two opposing teams in emotional & tragic moments. These moments in the game will surely be ones to remember for Diogo Jota family, who deserve every bit of love and support.
