On Friday, the Spanish National Team manager, Luis de la Fuente, is set to announce his squad for Spain vs Georgia, the following fixture against Turkiye. While the focus would be on the inclusion of the Barcelona No. 10 in the squad, Barcelona “would prefer” it if Spain did not call him up for these fixtures, as per media reports on Lamine Yamal injury.

This wouldn't be the first time that the 18-year-old misses games for the Spain National Football Team. Back in October, Yamal was out for two to three weeks after his aggravating groin injury. He missed the games against Bulgaria and Georgia.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick remains determined to help Lamine Yamal learn how to manage the injury. However, there is no simple recovery period or treatment for the current Lamine Yamal injury.

As per Marca, Barcelona have decided that Yamal needs to spend more time on the bench while also attending a series of physiotherapy exercises. As per the Barcelona injury update, Yamal is still not ready to play the full 90 minutes.
