Both players were born on or after 1 January 2005, meaning UEFA rules classify them as academy-eligible "List B" players, exempt from needing a spot on the main 25-man list as long as they've been registered with the club for the required period. In practical terms, Mainoo and Yoro remain fully available for Champions League selection, so they don't need to occupy one of the 25 senior slots, reserving space for more depth.
