Man United 0-3 Bournemouth Player Ratings as Rayan 8.8/10 as Cherries Punish Toothless Red Devils at Old Trafford

Quick Summary Table

Old Trafford sang for Michael Carrick and against the Glazers at the same time, while “sacked in the morning” rang out from the away end. Manchester United have now gone eight games without a win, are enduring their worst top-flight start since 1986-87, and have conceded three or more goals in consecutive games for the first time since April 2025. Bruno Fernandes, stripped of the captaincy and left on the bench after his midweek comments, stayed there all afternoon.

The Man United vs Bournemouth player ratings tell a story of self-inflicted wounds. Ayden Heaven’s needless two-footed slide gave away the free-kick that Rayan volleyed in on 38 minutes, and four minutes later Leny Yoro’s slip handed Marcus Tavernier a tap-in. That is why the Man United vs Bournemouth man of the match is Rayan (8.8/10), who scored once and could have had a hat-trick. At the other end, Senne Lammens misjudged a Lewis Cook pass and slid out of his area for Evanilson’s 71st-minute third, earning the lowest rating on the pitch at 4.5/10. For Marco Rose, the result extends a run of four straight wins across all competitions, 11-0 on aggregate, including a 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Europa League, the first time Bournemouth have won four in a row since December 2023.
