Mohun Bagan vs East Bengal Live Streaming: TV Channels Info - IFA Shield 2026

Attention shifts to club football after a historic international break for the national team, and what better way to mark it than with the most iconic derby in Indian football? East Bengal will face their arch-rivals, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, in the IFA Shield 2026 final at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

Emotions will be running high as the two teams lock horns again after the heated Durand Cup decider, in which the Red-and-Gold reigned supreme with a 4-1 victory. The defeat will be looming on the Mariners' minds as they take the field looking to settle the score, after coincidentally beating the same opposition on penalties in the final of the previous edition of the IFA Shield.

Either side arrives into the game at the back of contrasting performances. EB will be confident ahead of the fixture after dismantling a formidable opponent in North East United FC. The team put 7 goals past a hapless NEUFC side, with David Lalhlansanga stealing the show with a classy hat-trick.

The defending champions, meanwhile, were unable to get past a gritty Punjab defense in regulation time, and it took 2 heroic saves from Vishal Kaith to set up the clash against their arch-rivals.

The task at hand is not easy against a squad that is banking high on their winning momentum. But the derby is known to bring out the best in players, and fans will wait with bated breath to see which of the rivals come out on top this time around.

Although the Mariners have dominated the recent head-to-head meetings, East Bengal have a knack of causing upsets in finales, so all in all this is going to be a blockbuster of an event which one should absolutely not miss out on.
