The Magpies valued Isak somewhere close to over 150 million Euros. After all, there is no slightest hesitation in admitting that Alexander Isak is one of the best strikers in world football today, and he has consistently scored goals for Newcastle in the last two seasons. The Magpies CEO revealed that Isak is not for Sale, yet kept his eyes glued on other alternatives, if Isak departs. Isak has supposedly voiced his opinion to depart from the club, and the Magpies remain open to selling him if Liverpool increases their offer closer to 150 million euros.

It is unlikely that the Swedish striker will be heading towards Anfield for the upcoming season. Liverpool will now shift their focus to other options. The club has already bolstered the squad by including Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz. Another quality signing, like Benjamin Sesko or Yoane Wissa, could be a top-notch transfer window for Liverpool.
