Real Madrid have been going through a trophyless season. However, Arbeloa still has hope to win their remaining matches. The coach believes that the negative run of form forces him to manage the squad fairly.

'We are all optimistic, from what I see. I only think about Celta. And I don't think about anything else. We've had two consecutive defeats in the league and, in a team like Real Madrid, a loss is always difficult to manage due to the demands, but we're only thinking about tomorrow's game

The Madrid-based club have been facing injury-related issues of several players affecting their squad strength, including the French international Mbappe, who's out for a long time following a knee injury.

Now, Arbeloa could face a tactical challenge as he's looking for a suitable replacement for the 27-year-old Frenchman. Some reports point to the inclusion of Morocco international Brazim Diaz to fill the gap in the attacking front.

In the pre-match conference ahead of the Vigo trip, Álvaro Arbeloa spoke on the possibility of Lamini Fati's debut. Concerning injuries and absences of first-team players, the Madrid coach mentioned:

There’s one more injury. David Alaba is out tomorrow”. “Asencio? We will see now. And if not... then Diego Aguado or Lamini Fati would play. Let's see it. But Alaba won't be there, that's for sure.
