Los Blancos are coming off a morale-boosting win over Benfica in the UCL Round of 16 playoffs, and will look to mirror their performance in the domestic league too. Their only defeat in the last five games was against Osasuna away, which derailed their title charge once again to hand FC Barcelona the advantage.

With two of their centre-backs out due to respective injuries, it's time for Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba to pair up at the heart of the defence once again, after a good period of time. Alaba has gone down the pecking order, with the likes of Dean Huijsen replacing him due to consistent performances.

However, a recent injury crisis has opened the doors for a comeback for the Austrian, before he leaves the club at the end of the season for good. Let's start with the Real Madrid lineup first. Los Blancos have made two changes to the side that faced Benfica in the 2nd leg of the Round of 16 playoffs. Raul Asencio suffered a horrific neck injury after a terrible clash with Eduardo Camavinga, which has kept him out of this game too.

In his place, it's Antonio Rudiger who assumes duties as the right centre back in the Real Madrid lineup vs Getafe. With Dean Huijsen just returning from a calf issue, Arbeloa has trusted the veteran David Alaba, who gets the nod as he pairs up with Rudiger after quite some time.
